The snowcat lifts the group; 6-8 runs through snow and trees.

How a day goes

Morning
Breakfast at camp, a snow and avalanche briefing, a gear check (beacon, probe, shovel).
Day
The snowcat drops you to the lines. The guide leads the group on serious but safe descents.
Evening
Sauna, dinner, a debrief and a plan for tomorrow by the weather.

Safety and team

Daily avalanche assessment, small groups, guide-instructors with seasons in the West Altai. We do not push a group into risk for the sake of it.

Common questions

How many runs a day by snowcat?
Usually 6-8, depending on snow, weather and the group's level.
Do I need backcountry experience?
Confident off-piste riding is preferred. A first backcountry trip is possible by agreement.
What about safety gear?
Beacon, probe and shovel are required; we provide them if needed and teach their use at the briefing.
